Cabin Accommodations: The accommodations are rustic. Imagine your grandparents' favorite getaway in the woods Cabins are weather-beaten, the furniture eclectic, from formica to shabby-chic.

One and two bedroom cabins nestle along Kelsey Creek, and up onto a pine-covered knoll. These are rented weekly or by-the-day. A typical cabin layout is a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed and the kids' bedroom with two single beds. There may be a bed on the sleeping porch which brings the total occupancy of up to five persons per cabin. Kitchens feature antique stoves (remember how to strike match?) and charmingly unmodern sinks. Most basics are provided, including fridge, coffee maker, microwave. You might want to bring your favorite chef's knive and cast-iron skillet, drifting you back in time as your bacon and eggs sizzle on the gas stove. The bathrooms will remind you of summer camps in the Adirondacks, so don't expect spa tubs or bidets. Most of the cabins have sleeping porches. Bring the kids, their mountain bikes, kayaks or just your swimsuits.

Seasonal Mobile Home Sites: Some seasonal mobile home sites are also available. The mobile home village is really fun. Some of the trailers must have come over the Rockies with the Gold Rush. Yet their dilapidated state has been surrounded with the most creative collection of decks and bunk house additions you can possibly imagine. At night the Village comes alive with wondrous collections of Christmas type lighting, giving the whole a gypsy camp atmosphere. Call to verify availability.
